Woolsey Brothers RSVPs due Feb. 25
Customers of Woolsey Brothers Farm Supply who received invitations for the company's appreciation day dinner are asked to send in the RSVP card by this Saturday.
That RSVP is necessary to ensure seating and a meal at the company's annual meeting.
Two meetings are being held – one at noon and the other at 6:30 p.m. – on Thursday, March 1.
Entertainment for both meetings will be provided by country singer Moe Bandy.

Illinois Rotary Day is observed today

The Rotary Club of Vandalia this week is joining clubs across the world in celebrating the 107th anniversary of the organization.
The service club – one of the largest in the world – was founded on Thursday, Feb. 23, 1905, in Chicago. Club membership now tops 1.2 million in more than 33,000 clubs in 200 countries.
In recent years, Rotary International has been a leader in efforts to eradicate polio from all countries in the world.
The Vandalia Rotary Club, which has 42 members, meets every Tuesday at noon at Ponderosa Restaurant. Among the club’s projects are: sponsoring the Rotary Christmas Parade, organizing quarterly blood drives, distributing dictionaries to third graders in Fayette and Bond counties, and hosting special needs children to a meal at Christmas time.
Current president of the club is Lyn Gartke.

Family Y's Grand Raffle is March 24
The Family YMCA of Fayette County will hold its Grand Raffle on Saturday, March 24, at the Moose Lodge.
For information on the raffle and auction, call 283-1258. Tickets are $100 per couple.
