Chamber new business breakfast Nov. 15
The Vandalia Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual new business breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 15, at Vandalia Country and Golf Club.
The 7 a.m. breakfast is held to honor owners and managers who have started a new business in the past year. Also to be honored are individuals who have been promoted to new administrative and management positions. The cost is $10 per person.

Silva joins HeplerBroom law firm
Vandalia native Anthony Silva has joined the HeplerBroom law firm as an associate attorney.
The firm has offices in Edwardsville, Chicago, Springfield and St. Louis.
Silva received his juris doctorate from Valparaiso University School of Law this year. At the law school, he was vice president and founding member of the Military Veterans Law Association, and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. Before law school, Silva graduated from Eastern Illinois University.
