Bluff employees at Kubota meeting
Two Bluff Equipment employees and their wives recently attended Kubota Tractor's national dealer's meeting in Dallas.
Participating in the event were Gail Hall and his wife, Darla, and Bob Langel and his wife, Margaret. They joined more than 1,000 Kubota dealers from across the country to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the company's entry into the U.S. market.
During the meeting, Hall and Langel attended field demonstrations as well as classroom sessions to gain hands-on experience with Kubota's products.
They also were photographed on one of Kubota's first compact tractors introduced in 1972.
Kubota Tractor Corp. of Torrence, Calif., is the U.S. marketer of Kubota equipment, including a complete line of tractors up to 118 horsepower.

Jett gives speech in Philadelphia
Charlene M. Jett of Vandalia recently gave a presentation in Philadelphia titled "QA/QC and Validation in Clinical Trials of Pharmaceuticals" (or "An Ounce of Prevention is Worth a Pound of Cure)."
Jett is a management consultant and has provided services related to management of drugs, medical devices, diagnostics and chemical development.
Prior to starting her own business, she was employed by major pharmaceutical companies in the Chicago area as a scientist, clinical researcher and project manager. She has authored numerous publications.
She is the daughter of the late Sybel Hodges and Charles W. Harre.
She holds a bachelor's degree in physiology and master's degrees in biology and management.
