Hosick Motors event benefits local school
Hosick Motors helped raise more than $2,000 for Jefferson Primary School during the school's recent Fun Fair.
The money was raised through a Chrysler Group promotion called "Drive for the Kids."
More than 200 participants earned a $10 contribution to the school from Chrysler by taking a test drive in a Town & Country minivan.
"Drive for the Kids" is a mutually beneficial program," said Jason Knight of Hosick Motors. "We're pleased to support our local schools, and we also enjoy demonstrating a terrific, world-class product."
In the 20 years since Chrysler introduced the program, the company has contributed more than $4 million to schools throughout the nation.
