David A. Oldfield, a Vandalia  attorney, was admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court on Sept. 8.

Oldfield, an attorney with LeFevre, Oldfield, Myers, Apke & Payne Law Group, is believed to be the only Fayette County attorney admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court.
