BSE eighth-grade girls basketball team wins regional championship

The Brownstown/St. Elmo eighth-grade girls basketball team continued its perfect season last Thursday night, defeating Altamont, 45-42, to capture the regional championship. They are 23-0 and were scheduled to play Wednesday night at the Effingham St. Anthony Sectional. The team is pictured at left.
