The staff within the Brownstown School District recently participated in the ‘Go Red for Women’ campaign sponsored by the American Heart Association. The AHA event is a reminder that heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women in America. Thirty–four participants from the elementary school and junior-senior high school raised $170, which will be contributed to the Jump Rope For Heart program to be held Feb. 14-17 during elementary physical education.
