Name That (Wild) Bird!
The last few days, we have noticed tiny little birds flying around the Homestead and the lane. They are small, like wild canaries, are in flocks, as canaries fly. But they don’t seem to have the bright colors. They don’t come close enough to get a really good look at them, but seem very tiny.
The little hummingbirds (all two of them), Rufus and Alice, are hitting the feeder pretty hard. We wonder if they are preparing to go back home early this year.
