The Brownstown High School girls basketball is off to a 2-0 start after winning its season-opener against Mt. Olive, 65-35, last Tuesday and its second game against Shelbyville, 51-37, last Thursday.
The Bombers held Mt. Olive scoreless in the first quarter, while posting 18 points of their own. Brownstown held a 38-9 lead at halftime.
Senior Abby Hill led the Bombers offense, scoring 22 points, while seniors Brooke Maxey and Morgan Myers each pulled down six rebounds.
