Brown-Whightsil

Allison Brown of Lexington and Mitch Whightsil of Vandalia have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The future bride is the daughter of Ray and Jan Brown of Lexington.
She is a 2009 graduate of Lexington High School and a December 2012 graduate of Illinois College in Jacksonville, with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
She is employed as the assistant volleyball coach at Illinois College.
The future groom is the son of Rich and Renee Whightsil of Vandalia.
He is a 2009 graduate of Vandalia Community High School, and will be graduating this May with a bachelor’s degree in history with a certification in secondary education.
He is completing his student teaching semester at Waverly Junior High School and Waverly High School.
