Border Patrol Academy Graduate

Greg Dylan Sessions, son of Carol Lewis and David Sessions of Vandalia, was among the graduates of the 988th session of the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, N.M., on Dec. 8.

The graduation ceremonies included a call to order and introduction of guests by Stephen C. Lewis, the acting training operations supervisor of the academy, and address by a class representative, Graciela Jiron, a border patrol agent trainee from Indio, Calif. Walter Harris, the assistant chief patrol agent from Miami, Fla., was the guest speaker, and Harris also issued the oath of office. After the reading of letters of commendation, Jim Hollman, chief of the firearms branch of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, delivered the FLE Training Center address. Closing remarks were given by Lewis.
