ST. ELMO – Brownstown senior Austin Hunter dominated the paint in an otherwise ugly game in the consolation semifinals of the St. Elmo Holiday Tournament.
He had his best game of the season with 28 points and 16 rebounds in the Bombers’ 86-54 win against Mulberry Grove last Thursday.
The game was close through the first 16 minutes, as the Bombers held just a 31-25 halftime lead, but Mulberry Grove had trouble stopping Hunter and senior Matt Sefton in the second half.
