The Brownstown High School girls basketball team evened its record at 5-5 after losing to Altamont, 49-34, on Tuesday.
The Bombers trailed by two after the first quarter, but in the next two periods, Brownstown was outscored 28-12.
Altamont was only able to score six points in the fourth quarter, but Brownstown's nine-point effort was not nearly enough to put them back in the game.
Senior Brooke Maxey was the lone Bomber to score in double-figures, with 12 points. She also had a team-high seven rebounds.
