The local chapter of a business networking organization will be sponsoring a business expo at Vandalia Elementary School gymnasium this Saturday.
The expo, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., will include booths prepared by members of BNI Network Masters from Vandalia and Greenville.
Admission is free. Members of the Vandalia Community High School FFA chapter will provide food and beverages.
Participants signed up so far include: Mars Plumbing, Gold Real Estate, Days Inn of Vandalia, Assurance Home Inspection, LifeVantage, Tomlinson Electric, BNI Mid America, the Becker Agency (Farmers Insurance), Sterling Health Plans, Commercial Energy Associates, Nickel Electronics, Gold Realty and Coffee, National Road Interpretive Center, Fayette County Fair Association, Kaskaskia College, Who Says A Man Can't Clean, Bond County Title Co., The Red Door and Air Evac.
A few other businesses are still possible participants in the expo, according to BNI Network Masters representatives.
The inaugural event is co-sponsored by the Vandalia Community High School FFA, WPMB/WKRV and The Leader-Union.
“Network Masters wanted to sponsor the 2014 Business Expo to introduce the chapter and the businesses represented by it to the public,” said Greg Tomlinson, president of the local chapter.

The local BNI chapter meets every Tuesday from 8-9:45 a.m. at Adams Brothers Coffee Shop in Greenville. Prospective members can contact Smith.
