Black – 65 Years

The Rev. and Mrs. Eugene Black of Mattoon, and formerly of St. Elmo, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Sept. 9.
A family celebration is being planned for Sunday, Sept. 12.
Their children and grandchildren are holding a card shower for them in celebration of the anniversary, as well as a celebration of 64 years of ministry in the United Methodist Church.
Rev. and Mrs. Black were married on Sept. 9, 1945, in Vernon by the Rev. John Curtis.
