Helen Theresa Kupferer of Vandalia will celebrate her 106th birthday on Tuesday, Sept. 21.
She is the daughter of the late Charles and Ann Gibbons Kupferer. She was born in St. Louis on the home site on Sept. 21, 1904. She married Leland Ray on July 10, 1931.
Helen lives at home with daughter, Carole White. She also has one daughter, Donna and her husband Leland Fessler, who are deceased.
She enjoys reading and holding her dog, Sam. She will spend her birthday with family and friends.
