Betty L. Kroll, 84, Park Forest

Betty Lou Kroll, 84, of Park Forest, formerly of Ramsey, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Ramsey. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Ramsey. Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Kish Funeral Home in Munster, Ind., and one hour before services on Thursday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Ramsey. Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey was in charge of local arrangements. Online condolences may be shared at www.millerfh.net.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a very hard worker; an avid bowler, bowling in a league until she was 80; and former member of the American Legion. She looved the St. Louis Cardinals, reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and sitting down with her grandkids to play Nintendo.

She is survived by children, Elizabeth and her husband David Collins, Beverly and her husband Greg Cooper, Sharon and her husband Bill Long, and Clarence “Gary” (Golden Child) Kroll Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer, Arron, Matthew and his wife Jennifer, Jordan, Justin, Michael, Phillip, Amy, Nicholas, Zachary, Matt and William; great-grandchildren: Alyssa and Abigail; and brothers and sister: Gene Fish, William Fish and his wife Joyce, and Beverly Ann and her husband the late Dean Blackerby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence G. Kroll; parents, Joseph and Sarah Fish; and brothers and sisters, Jerry Fish, George Fish, Margaret Fish, Juanita Fish, Josphine Moorman, Vida Mae Trunnell, Joe Henry Fish and Lydia Pastor.
