BES students visit Family YMCA

Members of the seventh-grade physical education class at Brownstown junior high recently visited the Family YMCA in Vandalia.
Physical education teacher Sandra Stine took 20 students to the Family Y on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
While at the Family Y, the students had the opportunity to participate in a Zumba class (led by Allison Durbin), utilize the weight machines (led by personal fitness trainer Tonya Summers), and take part in additional cardiovascular workouts on the treadmill, elliptical and stationary bikes.
