Bell scores 20 as Vandals win first game

EFFINGHAM – After falling behind 10-0 to Charleston in the opening minutes of the first game of St. Anthony's Thanksgiving Tournament on Monday, the Vandalia High School boys basketball team  used a barrage of 3-pointers by seniors Daniel Bell and Marty Johnson to take a halftime lead and, eventually, the game, 52-48.
