Barker – 50 years

Danny and Linda Barker of Brownstown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Feb. 5, with the renewal of vows at Kaskaskia Church, with the Rev. Kent “Peewee” Denton officiating the ceremony.
Danny and the former Linda Jennings were married on Feb. 7, 1961, at the home of Dewey and Phebe Jennings.
They are the parents of three sons: Doug and his wife Renee Barker, and Dwayne and his wife Tammy Barker, both of Brownstown, and Darrell and his wife Patti Barker of Hutto, Texas.
