A Vandalia bar owner who has been ticketed three times for allegedly violating a city ordinance by allowing smoking in her business is challenging the constitutionality of that ordinance as she seeks dismissal of the tickets.
According to court records, Vandalia Police Chief Larry Eason issued tickets to Lisa Doyle, who owns the Redwood Inn with her husband, Albert, for alleged violations on Aug. 12, 19 and 21. Those tickets were recently replaced with new tickets issued to G&T Holdings Inc.
