Aug. 7 Open Bass Tournament winners

The Vandalia Sport Fishing and Conservation Club held an open bass tournament on Saturday, Aug. 7, on Vandalia Lake. Eight boats took part and the winners are shown above. From left are: Matt Kiecher, Robert Lindley and Shelby Lindley, first place with 17.84 pounds; Travis Gould and Arnie Rexroad, second place with 13.48 pounds; and John Blythe and Owen Karnes Jr., third place with 7.28 pounds. Robert Lindley was the big bass winner with a 5.24-pound catch.
