Vandalia's junior high girls basketball teams lost to Greenville on Tuesday.
The eighth-graders (3-9) fell, 18-14.
Scoring were: Alli Palmer (6), Bailee Workman (3), Sydney Austin (2), Rachel Zimmerman (2) and Olivia Marquardt (1).
The seventh-graders (4-8) lost, 25-5. Individual scoring was not reported.
The Jr. Lady Vandals posted their second straight win in seventh-grade girls basketball action on Monday.
Vandalia won at Salem Franklin Park, 25-14.
Leading scorers for the Jr. Lady Vandals (4-7) were Katlyn McKinney, with eight points, and Breann Swain, with six points.
The Vandalia eighth-grade girls basketball team took a 48-17 loss at Salem Franklin Park on Monday.
Sydney Austin, Bailee Workman and Rachel Zimmerman each scored four points for the Jr. Lady Vandals (3-8), and Olivia Marquardt added three and Alli Palmer had two.
Vandalia’s junior high girls basketball teams both collected their third win of the season last Friday at Mulberry Grove.
The eighth-graders were 30-24 winners, avenging a 32-31 loss from Sept. 24 during the Old Capitol Classic.
Bailee Workman and Olivia Marquardt each scored 11 points, while Sydney Austin (four), Alli Palmer (two) and Carley Wilkerson (two) also scored.
The seventh-graders beat Mulberry Grove for the second time, with a 32-7 victory.
Katlyn McKinney had a career-high 17 points in the game, and Libby Johnson added six.
Both teams stand at 3-7 on the season.
Both of the Jr. Lady Vandals girls basketball teams lost to Litchfield last Thursday.
The eighth-graders lost, 34-13.
Sydney Austin (4) and Bailee Workman (3) were the leading scorers for Vandalia, and Leila Hess, Camryn Murphy and Rachel Zimmerman each had two points.
The seventh-graders lost, 33-8.
Emma Warner was the leading scorer, with four points.
Both teams are 3-7 on the season.
Last Tuesday, the seventh-grade girls basketball team lost to Pana, 28-19.
Leading scorers were: Katlyn McKinney, with 10 points, and Katelyn Wilkerson, with six points.
Vandalia is 2-6 this season.

The Lady Rams just missed out on their second win last Thursday, falling 23-25, 22-25 to Egyptian-Illini Conference rival Christ Our Rock Lutheran.
Senior Rhonda McDonald had a team-high three kills and three aces during the match, which was Ramsey’s regular-season finale and dropped the team to 1-14 (0-6 EIC).
