It took more than seven years to get a restaurant at the land that houses the Holiday Inn Express. Now, it looks like there may be two eateries at that location.
Robert and Vicki Ellsworth of Greenville, who announced last month that they will build a Huddle House near Holiday Inn Express, are now involved in negotiations for a second restaurant in the city’s western Interstate 70 interchange.
Vicki Ellsworth was at Tuesday’s Vandalia City Council meeting as the council heard the first reading on a liquor license request filed by the Ellsworths.
