Earl and Deanna Hovious of Brownstown will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, at First Christian Church in Brownstown.
Earl Hovious and the former Deanna Kimberlin were married on July 24, 1971, at First Christian Church in Brownstown.
He is a retired truck driver, and she is retired from the restaurant and grocery store business. They have lived in Indianapolis, Ind., for 10 years, and in Brownstown for 30 years.
They are the parents of four children: Jim and his wife Connie Hovious, Gene and his wife Carolyn Hovious, and Kathy and her husband Michael Jackson, all of Indiana; and Michele and her husband Jeff Allen of Paris.
They have eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
