Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Schaal of Shobonier celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 17, with a family luncheon.

Eugene Schaal and Nancy Miller were married on Feb. 24, 1963, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Shobonier.
The Schaals have lived in rural Shobonier all of their married life. They have four sons: Kevin and his wife Lori of San Antonio, Texas, Tim and his wife Lori of Decatur, Jeff and his wife Kelly of Des Peres, Mo., and Joe and his wife Rachel of Vandalia. They have 10 grandchildren.
