Jenny Harrison, a Fayette County native and graduate of Vandalia Community High School, read her children's book "Nice And Cozy" at Evans Public Library on Saturday.

Scheduled to be the first in a series, the book tells about the lives of twin sisters, Allie and Sallie. This first book tells about the twins' experience as they were growing in their mother's womb. The next book will be about the twins' first birthday. Harrison, who is herself a twin, is the daughter of Alan and Loretta Harrison of the Augsburg area. "Through the books, I want to show kids that they can have fun without an iPad or a cell phone," Harrison said. "My mission for the Allie and Sallie series book series is to take one back to a much simpler time and show readers that life can be simple again."
