Alberta Irene Lewiski, 63, of Vandalia, died on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at her home.

Services will be held at a later date. Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be shared at www.millerfh.net.

Ms. Lewiski was born on June 4, 1949, in Pana, the daughter of Albert and Beulah Lewiski.

She is survived by a son, Jim Sims Jr. of Carlinville; and daughter, Sharon Thomas of East Peoria.
